Edinburgh Islamic Academy, warmly invites our families, students and wider community to take part in a special Family Sponsored Walk in support of Eden Orphanage, Lebanon.

This community walk will take place on Sunday 28 June 2026 at 10:00am, beginning at St Margaret’s Loch. Families will follow the Queen’s Drive Circular route, a beautiful and accessible walk of approximately 5km, suitable for children, parents and participants of all fitness levels.

This initiative is more than just a walk. It is an opportunity for our community to come together with compassion, unity and purpose, helping to support vulnerable orphans in Lebanon. Our collective fundraising target is £30,000, and each student is encouraged to raise a minimum of £30 in sponsorship.

We encourage all families to take part, support one another and help make this a memorable day of sadaqah, togetherness and community spirit.

Free parking is available on Sundays at St Margaret’s Loch Car Park, EH8 8HG, and Holyrood Car Park, EH8 8AZ. Please arrive early, wear comfortable shoes, dress appropriately for the weather and bring a rain jacket.

Completed sponsorship forms should be returned in class by Friday 26 June 2026.
